The client

This project was born from the dream of promoting this innovative and niche sport in the province of Navarra.   Roller skating is a sport that transmits feelings that are difficult to explain and this led us to want to promote it in a town like Tudela, where there are more and more people in love with this practice. In order to achieve the impact that we were looking for, it would be necessary to collaborate with public institutions, sponsors who believe in its values and media that spread the message.

The project

After obtaining the collaboration of the Tudela City Council, the Spanish Skating Federation and several sponsors, we began to work through various channels to achieve maximum impact.   The half marathon format (13 miles) and the attractiveness of the route, with the famous Ebro bridges as witnesses, managed to attract more than 260 roller skaters from various autonomous communities to participate in this festival. In addition, in order to promote the practice of this sport among the youngest skaters, specific categories were created to get them started in this sport.   Tudela experienced a real festival in its streets with the participation of all its inhabitants.

The results

A national audience to promote roller skating.   The size of the event, which started in the Plaza de los Fueros and crossed the main streets of the city, together with the strong presence of sponsors, who contributed to create a professional experience for the participants and to equip the whole event, managed to capture the attention of the main media such as TVE or the Diario de Navarra.   The result of this coverage was a national visibility that placed Tudela as the capital of this sport.
