A technical training campus to promote women's football
The client
Cristina "Chini" Pizarro is one of the leading players in women's football in Spain.
After winning the S.M La Reina cup, as one of the captains of Real Sociedad in 2019, she got in touch with us because she wanted to promote women's football through a training campus to start creating a school.
The project
The project started with the aim of promoting women's football in the Community of Madrid, where Cristina is originally from, and finally got the involvement of an important city council such as Leganes.
The quality of the campus was incredible, with young players coming from the main clubs in the community, who were able to enjoy Cristina's company with a closeness and involvement that was out of the ordinary. The player's attendance, together with the amount of material she gave to the participants and the organized trips, including a visit to the facilities of the Sport club Leganes and invitations to the Real Family Fest, made the experience something difficult to forget.
The results
The foundations of a project to position Leganes and Cristina as a reference in women's football.
The excellent quality of the Campus and the involvement of the player and the Leganes City Council have set the foundations to continue working on new projects that promote women's football in this region of Madrid.
