A padel tournament turned into a premium experience for padel lovers
Hero Padel is a young brand of padel rackets with a high-end product at reasonable prices. After more than 20 years of experience manufacturing padel rackets, they decided to embark on this journey and launch their own brand to conquer the Spanish market, one of the world's leading markets. In this first stage, they need ways to get closer to the players to put their product in their hands. They want direct exposure where they can enjoy that premium component of their brand.
Being aware of the popularity of padel tournaments, at Sportmadness we decided to create a different experience. A tournament that would bring the Hero Padel product closer to its target customers, all surrounded by an atmosphere in which to experience other feelings aligned with the values of the brand. Everything, from the search for facilities in an area in line with Hero, to the design of the user experience during the tournament, was done with the aim of generating maximum impact. The result was a Round Robin Tournament with several male and female categories and a format that allowed the competition to be enjoyed without premature eliminations, and a special atmosphere thanks to the inclusion of several collaborators and sponsors who energised a Saturday afternoon in which Hero Padel was the protagonist.
An unusual Padel Tournament More than 70 players gathered at Las Rejas Open Club in Majadahonda to take part in this event in which they were able to get to know the Hero Padel product first hand, while enjoying other experiences such as natural juices and smoothies made from freshly squeezed organic products, corners of top brand technical equipment or exclusive food and drink to replenish their strength. During the Tournament there were also several brand activations, including the prize-giving and product testing, which managed to generate direct business for Hero at the event itself.
