I have limited time, can I start my entrepreneurship journey?

Can you? you can.

Should you? maybe you shouldn't.

Over the years, we've found that one of the attributes all of our successful franchisees share is the focus. And if you're not dedicated full-time to your business, it's impossible to be focused.

We have yet to see a franchisee able to generate a truly successful business without devoting a lot of time to their franchise. And we're sure we won't see it, not with Sportmadness franchises or any other.

There is no quick fix. The passive income that so many entrepreneurial gurus sell us on YouTube doesn't exist. Having a business that works without putting in the hours is a miracle. Do miracles exist? We have no idea, but it's best not to depend on them. If you really want to have a successful business, you have to put in the hours. A lot of hours

I have little time, can I become an entrepreneur?

When you start a business, everything is magnified. The joys, the pains, the hours... You'll never have a 9-to-5 job again. Your job is 24/7, 365 days a year. It is true that you do it with pleasure and joy because you work for yourself, but you must be ready to accept it.

Of course, working hours are not enough, and that's not the only thing you need. Having a team behind you that gives you personalized support in everything you need, good processes that guide you on the path to follow, technology to exploit, etc... will help you a lot but in no way it replace hours.

A very common case among people interested in opening their Sportmadness franchise is to build their business in the medium term, meaning a period of 6 to 12 months. In this context, it is advisable to start working on your franchise, because by dedicating a few hours a day to it, you will be able to start learning (we have hundreds of contents), take advantage of the first opportunities and better understand how everything works.

As in any business, the learning curve is long and if you take the time to enjoy the beginning without the pressure of having to generate income at full speed, the final result will surely be positive: in fact, you will be better trained for the moment when you make the final leap and you will be able to attack with more strength all the opportunities that exist in the market.

If you want your business to work, you must be sure that you will make that move. And we're talking about having a business, not a hobby. If you really want to create a solid, growing business that generates enough revenue to live on, you need to be fully focused and dedicated. If you want to run a few small events a year while working full time on something else and have your business be a hobby that generates some income, then Sportmadness is not for you.

And it's not your place, because at Sportmadness we want to lead the global market in amateur sports services. And again, that takes focus... and long hours. It's the path that has taken our head office team and our most successful franchisees thus far. And it's the path that will keep us improving to help hundreds of entrepreneurs around the world.
