Fitbull Training Center, one of the best gyms in Bolivia that focuses its activities on the practice of disciplines related to health and wellness, provided the space in which the event would be held. Fitbull has an area specially designed for sporting events, equipped for the occasion with an octagonal MMA cage. In this case, the client was the end user himself: a user profile who enjoys mixed martial arts fights and who could view the tournament through the streaming tool on YouTube without need to attend. With these premises, the objective of the event was to make this type of sport known among the public in Bolivia and more specifically in the city of Santa Cruz de la Sierra, professionalizing the organization of tournaments mixed and establishing the name of the Sportmadness Santa Cruz brand in the territory.
The event consisted of two main mixed categories: amateur and professional. In the amateur category there were 5 main fights, and in the professional category there were 4. Among the participants were recognized figures of mixed martial arts such as Pedro Souza (Bolivia – Brazil), Wallison “Latino” Chibilski (Brazil), Daniel Reis (Brazil), or Rolando Rocha (Bolivia). Among all the participants, they added a total of 16 male and female fighters. The organization of the event by Sportmadness Santa Cruz, managed to provide the tournament with a professionalism characteristic of popular MMA tournaments, in addition to giving recognition to the practice of this sport in the city.
The organization of the event was carried out very effectively and several influencers attended in person to cover it. Its streaming with more than 4,000 views managed to raise the practice of mixed martial arts in Bolivia and lay the foundations for what will be a recurring tournament. A tournament accompanied by professional commentators, a unique ring and recognized sponsors such as Activade, Jansa or Hydra made the event an incredible experience and generated great confidence among the participants, creating a general feeling of satisfaction that encouraged them to participate in future editions.
